MAGIC CARPET
The Magic Carpet team building activity is easy to lead and requires simple and easy to obtain props. The team stands on top of their tarp and is then asked to "flip" the tarp over without anyone touching the ground. This might be the signature game for YLC in the future.

Love is chocolaty. When a person is in love, he/she melts into the passion of the other
Love is a temptation. People who are in love frequently attempt to do things that are beyond their capabilities.
Love is blind. People who get married out of love tend to say “I do” blindly because they do not really know the real consequences of such statement.
Love is when Hallmark banks on your cash and Hershey melts your wallet.
Love is pink and red.
Love is stupid. When a man says, “I love you” what he really means is “How could you be so stupid to fall for me!”
Love is psychologically deceiving. A person in love presents himself or herself in ways that do not really represent his or her true self, and expects the other to be somebody who he or she not really is.
Love is wet and sticky. It’s an exchange of bodily fluid.
Love is like Prozac; both promise a fantasy world.
Love is self-gratifying. When people are in love, they gratify themselves by believing that everything about the other person is beautiful: I love the way you move; I love the noise that you make when you’re sleeping; Your teeth are different, they are not really white, they look very natural; Your butts are sexy. When they fight: God, why do you have to move like that; You snore so loud that the dog woke up; You really need Colgate Whitening Toothpaste; They look like my grandmother’s!
GENERATION Y: XREAMIZING LIFE
By
Dr. Adnan Omar
Guest Speaker
One way to summarize the Generation Y compared to other generations is that Generation Y is characterized by extremes. On one hand, Generation Y is very exposed to unlimited streams of information, social issues, and tragedies. On the other hand, Generation Y has been given minimum, very limited knowledge, understanding, and skills about what to do with what they are exposed to.
.
Generation Y lives the life in motion. Nothing seems permanent. Marriage gets shorter, friendship ends abruptly, families move frequently, and even countries go through too many changes that threaten their very own core sense of permanency and stability. Life becomes so fluid that sometimes we are spinning out of control with unlimited number of temporaries with no clear sense of being and direction.
.
Given the challenges and constraints, how does Generation Y rise and xtreamize life? Even though the picture is bleak, but Generation Y is equipped with some assets. Due to their over-exposure to life reality, members of Generation Y, in many ways, know and understand better the complexities and extremities of life. What they need is proper discourse, directions, and guidance so that they can help mold, shape, and move the society to better desired conditions. Life can indeed be xtreamized, and Generation Y can and will contribute to it!
